This wine presents itself in the glass in a radiant golden yellow with light golden highlights. The nose is skilfully captured by tropical fruits - especially passion fruit and mango - and spicy, smoky nuances (thanks to the blue Devon slate). The brilliant fruit aromas of this German white wine are also reflected on the palate and are accompanied by a wonderfully natural residual sweetness. Despite the rich interplay of fruit fullness and residual sweetness, the Nik Weis Piesporter Goldtröpfchen Riesling does not lose its dancing lightness. The refreshing, complex acid structure gives this white wine the finishing touch.
