Der Taurasi von Fiorentino duftet nach Zwetschken, Kirschen und dunklen Beeren mit Noten von Minze, Salbei und blumigen sowie erdig-tabakigen Untertönen. Dicht, intensiv und prononciert in seiner Tanninstruktur, dabei aber sehr elegant und seidig, ist der in Barriques und großen Fässern ausgebaute, reinsortig aus Aglianico hergestellte Rotwein ein ebenso würdiger wie eigenständiger Vertreter seiner berühmten Herkunft, der trotz seines Reifepotenzials jetzt schon wunderbaren Genuss verspricht.
