Light, fresh and nervy this has all of the characteristics one wants from Alpine bubbles. Jacquere and Monduese are fermented using the ancestral method creating an elegant and feather light sparkler. While this is crisp and meral it is however not austere. Ripe yellow fruit and subtle white floral notes meet crushed stone and bracing acid. Perfect for sipping on its own, at the beginning of a meal, the 2020 is a much more gastronomic wine than than ‘19 and deserves a spot on the dinner table. It spent seven months on its lees and was disgorged and bottled with no SO2.
