The real beauty of their wines is that they source form some of the best vineyards in Napa Valley and put wine in the bottle at a price that completely belies the origins. The Stags leap Cab comes from a trop vineyard in that exclusive enclave. We can't mention the name to protect the brand but suffice to say the wines from their cost 3 times as much!
Carefully temperature controlled fermanentation over 2 weeks the wine is aged 10 months in 60% new oak. The final blend is 80% cab, 10% merlot and 10% petite verdot.
