The 2023 Cathedral is a blend of around 25% Mornington Peninsula, 25% Alpine Valleys, 25% Mt Gambier, 15% Henty and 10% Upper Goulburn Pinot Noir. Semi translucent vibrant ruby red colour with a light red purple tinged hue. Fragrantly scented the nose offers up aromas of violets, red cherries and red raspberries followed by some strawberry, fresh herb and spice notes. Light, fresh and juicy the palate is youthfully energetic and exuberant with freshly crushed red cherry, raspberry and strawberry fruits dancing over a fresh herb and delicate spicy earth infused back drop. Bright acidity and polished tannins finishing with a lively red fruited aftertaste that shows ample length. A delicious, unadulterated example of the variety.
