This cuvée was dedicated to the two daughters, Annemarie and Christina. It consists of Zweigelt, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The spiciness of the Zweigelt, the pithy fruit of the Cabernet Sauvignon and the velvety density of the Merlot. A wine with elegant structure and concentration on the palate, complex, berry fruit, hints of spices, very full-bodied and characterized by fine extra sweetness. Has charm and length.
About the producer
Göttlesbrunn is considered to be the best wine region within the Carnuntum region. This village is surrounded by three hills that protect it from the cool and wet weather from the north, while the nearby Danube balances the climate. The father of the current owner, Franz Netzl, began bottling the wines of this estate himself. Today it is run by Franz Netzl, his wife and his daughters. At this family winery, red wine accounts for 80% of the production. The focus is on the local varieties Zweigelt and St. Laurent, but also on international varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah.
