The 2018 growing season started off with a bang. Early hot and dry temperatures throughout the grape-growing regions of the state appeared to forecast a very compressed and early harvest. However, in September and October, the heat relented to normal levels, and the cool nights we’ve come to expect from that time of year, which allowed growers to hang fruit longer to gain balance and complexity. A classic vintage from Washington State.

Tasting notes
Showing pure Red Mtn. Cabernet character, with loads of ripe red fruits, currants, cocoa nibs, and spicy tobacco, this dense Cabernet is already immediately and undeniably delicious. It has the stuffing and tannin profile to age for at least a decade, but don’t feel bad if you crack a bottle open sooner than later.
