METRO
Bright red-ruby. Aromas of blueberry, cassis, black pepper, herbs and licorice. Dense, fine-grained, concentrated and alive; in fact, the most vibrant and delineated of these Tranche wines, with the firmest structure for aging. Conveys lovely subtle sweetness and early balance to its blue and black fruit and licorice flavors. Serious but refined tongue-dusting tannins spread out horizontally on the back end, with the rising finish lifted by a note of violet.
