This wine is an ode to the Knights Templare who lived at the Montenidoli estate.The wine is made the way they would have done, combining Vernaccia, Trebbiano and Malvasia into a blend that has a lengthy ageing process. Templare ages in French barrique for 12 months and an additional year in glass-lined cement, and stil yet, more time in bottle before its release. This is a wine to age, must like the tale of the Knights for which it is named.
