Grüner is king in Kremstal, where 70% of the vineyards, mostly loess terraces, are planted to the variety. It is here along the Danube where significant temperature swings between day and night help the ripening process while maintaining wonderful acidity and aroma. The von den Terrassen (of the Terracces!) Grüner Veltliner possesses lovely weight and complexity that align perfectly with the variety's hallmark acidity and freshness.
