This French oak fermented and aged Timorasso style is the result of a collaboration between Enrico de Alessandrini, Pierre Naigeon and Walter Massa. The 2019 grapes are from Massa selected producers of Derthona and vinified in Gevrey Chambertin. The style is the result of hand harvest, strict attention to temperature control, and use of indiginous yeast and sequential natural malolactic fermentation. The result is an ethereal wine with sumptuous flavors of clove, white pepper and honey balanced with a nose of anise and white flowers. It is silky and round but with balanced acidity with hints of graphite. Deserving of "Riserva" status which requires a minimum of 3 years of bottle aging.
