This blend starts with Sauvignon Blanc from our Stags Leap District Estate vineyard. Robert Mondavi purchased this site in 1969, and this hillside vineyard produces fruit with intense varietal character. The balance of Sauvignon Blanc hails from our Oakville estate. The well-draining soils of this site result in low yields of deeply concentrated fruit, with vibrant fruit flavors and acidity. A small amount of Oakville Sémillon adds roundness with a creamy texture.
