The 2021 Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso is wildly unique. A burst of incense and cedary spice gives way to depths of pepper-tinged black raspberry. It’s soft-textured and focused on purity, with tart wild berry fruits accentuated by zesty acidity and a core of saline minerals that add savory tension. The 2021 finishes potent yet fresh, with violet inner florals and wild blueberry hints that slowly fade.
