This unique wine is mostly Carmenère, making it a rarity in an Italian context, and it doubles down on the intrigue by adding a splash of the even-rarer indigenous grape Oseleta. Saved from extinction in the 1980s, Oseleta adds colour and tannin to this complex, refined, appealing wine, with its notes of dark berry, pepper spice, clove and vanilla. Pair with roast lamb or grilled sausages.
