The King family has sourced the Pinot Noir grapes for this wine from some of the most acclaimed vineyards in Oregon's Willamette Valley. Cherry and potpourri jumps out of the glass, with definitive Oregon flavors of mushroom, forest floor, and earth coming through on the long finish. This is rich and well-built with oak and vanilla nuances attributed to aging in French oak. Enjoy now and through 2028.
What an aromatic roller-coaster ride. The first sniff of the glass yields bright red cherries and orange zest. Then you get a burst of roasted red peppers, followed by a shot of espresso. Restrained acidity and velvety tannins accompany raspberry, smoked cherry and earthy oregano flavors. Great value here. — Michael Alberty
