Place From cool climate Ballard Canyon (Baller Canyon) and Sta Rita Hills in Santa Ynez Valley. Sandy soils for great drainage, precise farming and herbicides and pecdicides never see the vines. Vineyards are full of chickens, goats, butterflies and shit (literally)!
Winemaking 10% new french barrels (228L), the rest is aged in neutral and aged oak. Natural fermentation. This was a cooler growing season and the grapes had a longer hangtime than usual.
Wine
Redolent of kirsch, crushed blueberries, creme de cassis and red twizzlers, I was looking for something that was juicy and delicious with all foods. Pulled pork BBQ, curries, burgers, and things like fried chicken that people don't usually think about with high end wine. Obviously, we don't take ourselves very seriously, the wine is meant to be fun and give the middle finger to the old school establishment, but the juice is dope AF!!
