Hardy's top Shiraz is sourced from two McLaren Vale vineyards averaging 70 years of age. It envelops the nose with rich, heady aromas of brambly red, black and blueberry fruits, baking spice and more savory ones, too. It's flecked with dark chocolate and a woodsy barrel note. The palate is full-figured but never syrupy, corseted by fine, powerful chalky tannins and lifted acidity.
