Deep garnet color to the rim of the glass. The nose is an exotic array of red fruits, fresh blackberry, dried oregano, crushed rose petals, and fir bough. Long and lithe on the palate, full-bodied with a masculine edge of tannin, and a gorgeous string of refreshing acidity. Figgins Estate Vineyard is a later-ripening site, and this wine clearly benefited from the softening rains they had late in the 2019 growing season.

Inviting aromas of vivid red fruit, fresh herbs and paprika. Full-bodied with juicy, fruit-soaked, fine tannins. Delightful. So much happening here. The fruit is plentiful and full of charming spice and herbal complexity. Very well balanced and long. Fresh. A blend of cabernet sauvignon, merlot and petit verdot. Best after 2024 but attractive now.
