About the Cave Collection
The Far Niente Cave Collection suits the desire to drink beautifully aged wines without the wait. Each January, we release a limited selection of vintages from our library. These rare wines are available until the year’s allocation is sold out. Some disappear in a matter of weeks, while others remain longer.
We began the Cave Collection in the late 1980s so enthusiasts could experience our older vintages alongside our newest releases. With each vintage of Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay, we set aside a small percentage of the bottles, finish them with a distinctive, black-banded Cave Collection capsule and place them in a specially branded, six-bottle wooden box.
The Cave Collection allows one to enjoy an aged wine or revisit a favorite vintage without having to endure years of patient waiting. Best of all, buyers may acquire with confidence knowing the provenance of the wines.
