Elite
Intense red violet color. Medium-bodied Malbec. Cherry, mulberry and cassis linger with sweet toast aromas. Spice and mineral notes on a long and fresh finish. Good typical varietal character combined with earthy. Blackberry, plums and boysenberry with sweet toast aromas. Fresh acidity keeps it mouthwateringly fresh. Sweet tannins blended with oak provide complexity and a velvety mouthfeel. Early harvesting and high altitudes contribute toward making this a very elegant take on classic Mendoza Malbec. The palate still yields dark fruit, baker’s chocolate, and star anise, yet none of the ‘chewy ‘ intensity typical of other Malbecs from the region.
