Splendidly fruited and complex, the wine shows blackcurrant, spiced cherry, cedar and subtle dried herb notes on the nose. It's equally attractive on the palate delivering terrific fruit power combined with spicy nuances, finishing long and delectably appealing.
Deep ruby with a nose of sweet cherry, dark berry jam, fig leaf, orange rind, bay and woody spice. The palate is long and driven by rich and fresh flavors of blackberry, cassis, blueberry, red cherry and plum. A grip of oak tannins gives texture while a hum of berry acidity carries and lifts. It’s long, structured and fades with a tail of chocolate and red berries.
