The Via Edetana is a blend of 60% Garnatxa, 30% Syrah and 10% Cariñena from 20-40 year old vines.The wine is fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks, and each variety is aged separately for 12 months in 500 L French oak barrels. In the glass, the wine sits a deep ruby color with aromas of ripe red berries, black olives and dried herbs. The palate is lush and long with ripe, soft tannins and a persistent finish. Enjoy with herb-roasted pork loin or marinated skirt steak.
