The noble house gets its name from a winery built by the prince of trier (on the moselle). Dornfelder is somewhat similar to merlot and is often used in germany to make fruity/lightly sweet wines. The noble house dornfelder has expressive notes of red cherry and berry – fantastic when served chilled.
