How good would it be to have a sparkling wine to toast the next harvest?, commented Laura Catena and Roy Urvieta at a New Year's Eve barbecue. And it was not because there were no bubbles at hand, but because the idea was to have its own sparkling wine, as part of the Domaine Nico portfolio.
Project dedicated to the development of different Pinot Noir plot, which has Roy as winemaker in charge, Domaine Nico presented this week that dream come true: Domaine Nico Brut Rosé, a sparkling wine made by Charmat method from Pinot Noir (35%) and Chardonnay (65%) grapes from Tupungato (Uco Valley, Mendoza).
