A less elegant but even more complex nose features notes of rosemary oil, petrol, essence of apple, soft soil tones and a deft hint of wood toast. There is impressive density, punch and texture to the medium weight flavors that deliver excellent length on the balanced finale. This could use a bit better depth but that should reasonably occur if given a chance and overall, this offers fine quality for a villages-level Chassagne. Recommended. - Allen Meadows, Jun 2024

The 2022 Chassagne-Montrachet Village has pleasing mineralité on the nose, almost making it worthy of a Premier Cru. It is very finely focused, with touches of hazelnut emerging with time. The palate is very wellbalanced, with fine tension and poise. Not amazingly complex, yet it delivers in terms of purity and precision. Drink this over the next decade. - Neal Martin, Oct 2023
