PLANT
"Sur le Chêne" is a parcel 50 year old vines planted in calcareous gravel with southerly exposition in Maranges. The vines yield ripe fruit that, when transformed into wine, provides an intense bouquet of floral raspberries mingling with vivacious acidity. The aromas and palate are complex - one finds hints of orange peel blending into licorice leaf. An ample finish and meant to accompany white fleshed meats or fresh young cheese.
