TASTING NOTES: This is a wine to wow all tastes and palates. It's medium-bodied, smooth, and beautifully crafted to give a perfect balance of savoury and fruit flavours. Dark fruits - blackberry, cherry, stewed plum, with a pleasant nod towards savoury notes of toast and tobacco pouch. There's hints of earthiness and scrubland herbs (rosemary, bay), reflecting its south-western France origins. The long finish is sublime. Exceptional value. Made from old vines of Syrah, Carignan, Grenache and Mourvedre, and aged in oak.
FOOD MATCH: This would go well with any kind of rustic herby dish - lamb stew, ratatouille, chicken with basil, beef and rosemary.
