Classic St Estephe from a remarkable vintage. 60% Merlot 40% Cabernet Sauvignon. Matured for 18 months in 35% new oak. Practicing organic. Château Morin is situated on one of the highest points in Saint-Estèphe. After changing hands many times, it was bought by nearby Chateau de Pez in 2005. Its 10.5 ha of vines are grow on clay and limestone with excellent sun exposure. This wine possess a beautiful deep ruby color. A refined, complex nose of flint, cassis, black cherry, cigar box, cedar, cacao and tar. On the palate, savoury and earthly, with a smooth and supple tannins on the palate. "Beautifully mature, this ripe wine with black-fruit and smoky flavors has soft tannins. The structure gives shape to the secondary flavors that are now developing. It is ready to drink.
