Winemaker Notes
Nice fruit forward Pomerol with loads of Merlot fruit and a delightful perfumed element to it. A rich & powerful wine with good balance with a bouquet of black current, mint and pretty earthy tones. It comes from a highly respected small seven-acre vineyard located in the heart of Pomerol. This wine is always a crowd pleaser and great for this price range.
Great with a wide range of dishes including lamb chops, roasts and chicken.

From a seven-acre vineyard, this wine is rich, balanced and fruity. It has an elegance and freshness reflecting the vintage. The wine, from 40-year old vines, is packed with black fruits and ripe tannins.

Plummy nose with a touch of iron, spices and paprika. Juicy and bright on the palate with medium body, bright acidity and a brambly, tight finish. Fresh, fine-grained tannins. 90% merlot and 10% cabernet franc.

A dark nose full of chocolate and liquorice-laced black fruits. Supple and succulent in equal measure, the tannins have a bounce and soft chew to them while the strawberry and raspberry fruit have a mouthwatering quality with the two elements giving a balanced and medium-to-full body. This has a definite charm to it - finessed and precise - a lovely, easy-drinking Pomerol this year still with structure, definition and tons of fruit. I love it. Oenoconseil consultants.
