This wine is made of 66% Garnacha, 17% Syrah, and 17% Cabernet Sauvignon. Priorat is often dubbed as a "Spanish Côtes-Du-Rhone", and Cesca's previous vintages have included other French varietals like Carignan and Merlot. This wine is aromatic and rich with flavors of baked blackberries, plums, and blackcurrant. We would pair this with a rich Manchego, seared lamb skewers, or grilled eggplant. Cesca inherited the land from her father, who came to the region after the Spanish Civil War, to revive its many lost vineyards.
