Deeply textural and medium-bodied, communicating importance through its weighty presence; yet all is kept perfectly in place by a mix of vibrant acids and salty minerals. There's a youthful density here that will require time to unwind, with a blend of white stone fruits, sometimes melon and sometimes lime, and all under an air of tropical florals. This tapers off remarkably long and staining - yet fresh. This is Vertis at its best, but it will require a few years of cellaring to fully blossom. That said, it will be worth the wait.
