The grapes are picked up by hand and put in small baskets by selecting them from the same vineyards. Grape Variety: 100% Tinta del País (Tempranillo) The vines: Vineyards located at 840 metres over the sea level in Sotillo de la Ribera, goblet-pruned vines. Terroir: clay-calcareous soils. Winemaking: The alcoholic and malolactic fermentations are made at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks with natural yeasts. Ageing: 30 months in American and French oak barriques in a 16th century underground cellar, at a constant temperature of 12ºC Alcohol Content: 14,5 % by vol. Bottle: The wine is bottled and left to stand in the cellar at least two years before selling it. Limited production: 4.850 bottles. TASTING NOTES Deep red berry colour, with chocolate notes. Powerful, elegant, very aromatic, excellent bouquet, toffee, mint, tobacco, oak aromas, cedar, liquorice, minerals and with hints of spices. On the palate it is delicious, powerful, well balanced, with a very good body and full of sensations. It has got a very lingering aftertaste and it is very harmonious. It is an impeccable wine. Temperature wine consumption: From 16-18ºC.
