As its name indicates, Arbui V47 comes from vineyards over 47 years old, planted in the “glass” system with a yield of 1,300 and 1,800 g. by vine Soil with a high content of calcareous salts and a layer of clay that provide tannins and volume. Manually harvested in boxes of no more than 9 kg. Elaborated by plots in open fermenters of 4,000 kg. This elaboration has the peculiarity of being an elaboration by gravity, without the intervention of machinery that could harm the must. Malolactic fermentation in barrels and subsequent aging for 20 months in new French oak barrels of the highest quality, seeking elegance and respecting the minerality and rusticity of the grape. A second aging in the bottle in order to taste the wine with all its perfect qualities. Arbui V47 singular red wine is, in short, a bet dedicated to our oldest vineyards, which our previous generations cared for and pampered, so that we can defend the family tradition that goes with it. Only 5,000 bottles have been produced by the vintage. Do not stand without trying it.
