The Rét from Alex & Maria Koppitsch translates to “field” in Hungarian – referring to the land that was used for feeding the livestock of the village. The vineyard’s overlooking the Neusiedl Lake, the Zweigelt and St Laurent grapes are growing on rather sandy soils. The result in the 2020 vintage is a light, herbal and summery red wine. Fun notes of cherry, grapefruit and liquorice.
