Winemaker Notes
Garnet red reflections with orange streaks. Intense scent of wild rose, violet, licorice and withered flowers. On the palate it is straightforward, sincere and delicate, pleasantly harmonious with silky tannins.
Pair with risotto, tagliatelle and heavy roasts.

The 2020 Barbaresco Sandaive is a blend of fruit from Rizzi and Rocche Massalupo. Dark and nicely layered, with notable intensity, the 2020 is super-expressive. Black cherry, spice, new leather, tobacco, menthol and licorice are nicely dialed up. This mid-weight Treiso Barbaresco delivers the goods

A supple red, with generous cherry, plum, licorice and tar flavors. Reveals firm, refined tannins that gather steam as this builds to the lingering finish. Balanced, if a bit compact now. Best from 2026 through 2039.
